Terms of Service

Welcome to North Florida Fishing Camp, operated by Tides Fishing Company, LLC. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website (northfloridafishingcamp.com) and your registration of a child for our camp programs.

By using our site or registering a child for camp, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our site or register.

1. Camp Registration & Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of the camper you are registering.

  • Campers must meet the age requirements listed for each specific camp session.

  • We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or terminate any registration at our discretion, including for safety reasons or violation of camp rules.

2. Payment Terms

  • All camp fees are due at registration unless a deposit option is selected at checkout.

  • If you select a deposit option, the remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the camp start date. Failure to pay the balance may result in the registration being cancelled.

  • Payments are processed in U.S. dollars through Wix Payments.

  • Prices are subject to change, but the price quoted at the time of your purchase is what you will be charged for that registration.

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Full refund: if you cancel more than 30 days before the camp start date.

  • No refund: if you cancel within 30 days before the camp start date unless we fill your spot and you will be entitled to your full refund.

  • No refund: Tor no-shows or bad behavior at the camps discretion. 

  • Weather/emergency cancellations: if we cancel camp due to weather, safety, or other circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a full refund or credit toward a future camp at our discretion.

  • Waitlist orders: waitlist fees are non-refundable but will be credited toward your full registration if a spot opens.

  • All refunds are processed back to the original payment method and may take 3-10 business days.

4. Required Camper Information & Waivers

  • After registration, you are required to complete our camper details form (medical information, emergency contacts, photo release, and waivers) BEFORE the first day of camp.

  • Campers will not be permitted to attend without a completed form on file.

  • You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and current information.

5. Photo & Video Release

  • By registering, you grant North Florida Fishing Camp permission to take photographs and video of your camper during camp activities for camp marketing materials, social media, and our website.

  • You may opt out of photo release by indicating so on the camper details form.

6. Risk of Participation & Limitation of Liability

  • Camp activities include fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, and other outdoor pursuits. These activities involve inherent risks including but not limited to injury, illness, or property damage.

  • By registering your child, you acknowledge these risks and release North Florida Fishing Camp, Tides Fishing Company, LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and volunteers from liability for injury or damage that may occur during normal camp activities, except in cases of gross negligence.

  • Detailed waiver language is included in the camper details form, which you must complete before the camp start date.

7. Camper Conduct

  • Campers are expected to follow camp rules, listen to staff instructions, and treat other campers and staff with respect.

  • We reserve the right to dismiss any camper for behavior that endangers themselves, others, or significantly disrupts the camp. No refund will be issued in these cases.

8. Communication

  • By providing your email address and phone number at registration, you consent to receive communications related to your child's camp registration including welcome messages, form reminders, schedule updates, and emergency notifications.

  • You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. You can opt out of email communications using the unsubscribe link in any email.

  • We do not send marketing communications without separate consent.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website (logos, photos, text, designs) is the property of Tides Fishing Company, LLC and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • Our website and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to camp registration is limited to the amount you paid for that registration.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

  • Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Duval County, Florida.

13. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects any changes. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance.
