Sheepshead season! February is when the “convict fish” show up thick on the docks and jetties, and they're a blast for kids to catch.
 
School's out — go fishing! Our one-day School's-Out Camps give young anglers a full day on the water with North Florida Fishing Camp. Campers fish inshore aboard professional charter boats, targeting redfish, trout, flounder, black drum, and whatever else is biting, while learning hands-on skills like rigging, cast netting, and reading the tides. Same counselors, same charter captains, same boats, same fun as our summer camps — packed into one day.
 
Thinking about summer camp? A School's-Out Camp is the perfect way to try us out. Your camper meets our counselors and captains, gets a real day on the boats, and you'll know exactly what to expect before booking a full week this summer.
 
What's included: guided charter fishing, all rods, tackle, and bait, life jackets, and plenty of pictures. Any keeper fish are filleted and sent home with your camper if they'd like.
What to bring: a bagged lunch (required), sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, closed-toe shoes that can get wet, and a change of clothes.
