Terms of service

Welcome to North Florida Fishing Camp, run by Tides Fishing Company, LLC. These terms of service (“Terms”) cover your use of our website (northfloridafishingcamp.com), your parent account and your registration of a child for our camps. By using our site or registering a child, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site or register.

1. Registration and eligibility

You must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of the camper you register.
Campers must meet the age requirements listed for each camp.
We may refuse, cancel or end any registration at our discretion, including for safety reasons or breaking camp rules.

2. Payments

Payments are made online in U.S. dollars by card or bank account and are processed by Stripe.
Summer camps can be held with a deposit. The rest is due 30 days before the camp starts, and you can pay it any time from your parent account. If the balance isn’t paid by then, we may cancel the registration.
One-day School’s-Out camps are paid in full when you register.
A 3% online processing fee is added to each online payment, card or bank. It covers card and bank charges and our registration system. Processing fees are not refundable.
Prices can change, but the price shown when you register is the price you pay for that registration.

3. Refunds and cancellations

Week-long camps (Day, Overnight and Advanced): full refund if you cancel more than 30 days before the camp starts. Inside 30 days, you get a refund if we fill your spot. Otherwise, your payment becomes a credit toward any available camp in the next 12 months, and it can be used by a sibling.
One-day School’s-Out camps: full refund if you cancel more than 14 days before the camp date. Inside 14 days, you get a refund if we fill your spot.
Weather and emergencies: if we cancel camp because of weather, safety or anything else outside our control, you get a full refund or a credit toward another camp. If weather cancels a charter day during a week-long camp, we refund that day on a prorated basis.
No refund for no-shows, or for campers sent home for behavior (see section 7).
Waitlist: waitlist payments are credited toward your registration if a spot opens.
Refunds go back to the original card or bank account and can take 5–10 business days to show up.

4. Camper information and waivers

Before the first day of camp, you must complete your camper’s information (medical information, allergies, emergency and pick-up contacts and photo release) and sign the camp waivers in your parent account.
Campers can’t attend without completed information and signed waivers on file.
You are responsible for keeping this information accurate, complete and up to date.

5. Photo and video release

By registering, you give North Florida Fishing Camp permission to photograph and video your camper during camp activities and to use those photos and videos in camp marketing, social media and our website.
You can opt out of the photo release in your camper’s information.

6. Risks of participation and release

Camp activities include fishing, boating, swimming and other outdoor activities. These involve inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness and property damage. By registering your child, you acknowledge these risks and release North Florida Fishing Camp, Tides Fishing Company, LLC, its owners, employees, contractors and volunteers from liability for injury or damage that may happen during normal camp activities, except in cases of gross negligence. The full waiver language is in the waivers you sign in your parent account before camp.

7. Camper conduct

Campers must follow camp rules, listen to staff and treat other campers and staff with respect. We may send home any camper whose behavior endangers themselves or others or seriously disrupts camp. No refund is given in those cases.

8. Communication

By giving us your email address and phone number, you agree to receive messages about your camper’s registration, including confirmations, reminders, schedule updates and emergency notices.
We may also email occasional camp news and registration announcements. You can unsubscribe from those with the link in any of them. Reply STOP to opt out of texts.

9. Intellectual property

Everything on our website, including logos, photos, text and designs, belongs to Tides Fishing Company, LLC and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

Our website and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses.

11. Limitation of liability

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to a camp registration is limited to the amount you paid for that registration.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Duval County, Florida.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when. Using the website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
