North Florida Fishing Camp (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a youth fishing camp program run by Tides Fishing Company, LLC, based in Jacksonville, Florida. You can reach us at:

This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store and share information about you and your child when you visit our website, create a parent account or register for camp.

Information we collect

When you create a parent account or register a camper, we collect:

Parent/guardian information: name, email address, mailing address and phone number.
Camper information: name, birthday, shirt size, medical conditions, allergies and medications, emergency and pick-up contacts, photo release choice and signed waivers. You enter and update this in your parent account.
Payment information: payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card or bank account number.
Order information: the camps you registered for, payments, balances, refunds and camp credits.

We also collect basic technical information when you visit our site (such as browser type and pages viewed) to keep the site working and understand how it is used.

How we use your information

To process your camp registration and payments.
To communicate with you about your camper’s registration: confirmations, reminders to finish camper information and waivers, schedule updates and weather calls.
For camp safety and emergency response (medical information and emergency contacts).
To order camp shirts and supplies.
To keep records required by Florida camp licensing and our insurance carrier.
To answer your questions.
To send occasional camp news and registration announcements by email (see “Email updates” below).

Email updates

Families who have registered with us or signed up for our list may get occasional emails about upcoming camps and registration dates. Every one of these emails has an unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe, we stop sending them, but you will still get emails about camps you are registered for.

Text messages

If you give us your phone number, we may text you about your camper’s registration, such as reminders, schedule changes and weather updates. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help, or call us at (904) 860-8361. We do not share mobile phone numbers with anyone for marketing.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the camp:

Service providers: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (our secure registration database and parent sign-in), Stripe (payments), Resend (website emails), Google Workspace (email) and Intuit QuickBooks (accounting). They get only the information needed to do their job.
Camp staff: our counselors and charter captains see what they need to run their boat safely, such as camper names, allergies and emergency contacts.
Medical professionals and emergency responders: if your child needs medical attention at camp, we share medical and emergency contact information with the people treating them.
Legal requirements: if required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the safety of campers, staff or others.

How we protect your information

Our site uses encrypted connections. Your parent account is protected by a one-time sign-in code sent to your email. Each family can see only its own records, and only camp directors can see everything. Payment details stay with Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor, and are never stored in our systems.

How long we keep your information

We keep camp registration records for at least 7 years for tax, insurance and licensing purposes. After that, records are deleted unless the law requires us to keep them.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

Show you the information we have about you and your child.
Correct anything that is wrong. You can also fix most of it yourself in your parent account.
Delete your information, subject to the record-keeping rules above.
Stop camp news emails, using the unsubscribe link in any of them.
Stop text messages, by replying STOP.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

Our website is meant for parents and legal guardians registering their children for camp. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All information about campers is provided by their parent or guardian. If you believe we have collected information directly from a child under 13, email info@northfloridafishingcamp.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when. We will email active registrants about significant changes.
